Moscow (CNN) — A meteor streaked through the skies above Russia’s Urals region Friday morning, before exploding with a flash and boom that shattered glass in buildings and left hundreds of people hurt. The number of injured continues to rise as new reports come in from across a wide area. As of noon Moscow time, as many as 725 people had sought medical help, according to the state-run RIA Novosti news agency.
Welp that’s about it for us. I’d start knocking some shit off your bucket list, maybe call up that chick you’ve always been scared to talk to, call up your parents and say it was nice knowing you. I mean we all know how this movie ends. First you get a bunch of scientists huddled around monitors talking about gigantic asteroids hurdling towards Earth. Then the secondary countries start getting destroyed (i.e. Russia). Before you know it Morgan Freeman is drawing lottery tickets for who gets to enter the Doomsday caves while Bruce Willis tries to detonate a nuke on an asteroid and Jon Cusack tries to fly everybody away from the megatsunamis and shit. Seen it happen a thousand times at least three times. Mayans were right I guess just a little bit off in their calculations. Bottom line is it’s only a matter of time before we all get blasted back to the Ice Age and Russia is just the start.
