Even after they're given a golden ticket they can't stop acting their color.

@paulorndorf they werent "given a golden ticket." They had to work their ass off to get to one of the best college football programs in the world. I hate people who say shit like that and act like their failures were predetermined. You could have been a D1 football player if you wanted to put in all the work they did. Talent isn't "given" it's gained through hard work

Mandre... no. Talent is not earned through hard work. Talent is given. Work ethic and discipline are earned, not talent.

Completely agree with @mandre. Just because they're freak athletes doesn't mean they don't work hard everyday to get better. Talent can take you so far until hard work has to take over. And enough with the prejudice bullshit. Who's to say half of the people on that list are black anyway @carlsweetchuck? Not all black people are lazy @paulorndorf, jand I'm sure not all white people are ignorant either.

From what the note says my guess would be these guys didn't get there by hard work. They have an opportunity to possibly make it to the NFL and the only thing holding them back is their lack of hard work.

You dildos missed the mark. Being hand picked by Miles and fast tracked to an extraordinarily lucrative career is indeed a 'golden ticket' regardless of what got you there. To blow that opportunity is the mark of a juvenile primate.

If it was Mack Browns sign at Texas it would read " Attention NFL scouts, these players miss practice because they were raping chicks and would not be good prospects. Except of course for the Cowboys or Raiders...Case McCoy and Jordan Hicks...I won't answer questions about stats or their defense. I'll leave that for their attorneys.

@paulorndorf. you're acting like they were plucked off the streets at random. look at this ray allen quote: "I've argued this with a lot of people in my life,'' Allen said. "When people say God blessed me with a beautiful jump shot, it really pisses me off. I tell those people, 'Don't undermine the work I've put in every day.' Not some days. Every day. Ask anyone who has been on a team with me who shoots the most. Go back to Seattle and Milwaukee, and ask them. The answer is me."

Hey Mande I could be the legitimate best three point shooter on planet Earth, practice everyday, make 95% of my shots...and still probably not even play division 1 ball with my 5'3" stature. I wouldn't even whiff some shitty Euro league. What a ridiculous argument. Plenty of kids work much harder than these kids, they weren't born 6'2" 255 though.

@paulorndorf and the like, if you think wasting that which was not derived from hard work and discipline is a luxury of race and not unique to the individual, then you deserve all the dissatisfaction and disappointment with life that is coming to you. talent, intelligence, wealth are wasted on a daily basis by all. whatever hard work and discipline you think you have expended to get where you are will be doubtless wasted by your quadra-pedal offspring. maybe then, in the final moment before you mercilessly take your own miserable lives will you realize the scope of your primal innocence and how insufficient for life you were as a result.

They should give those gentlemen a break. They risked being called cornball brothers and attended every academic class, taking full advantage of the heavily discounted if not free ride for the opportunity to get a college education yo. Missing a practice or two says nothing about their character or lack thereof.

@mandre I was born 5'11" 175 pounds, and after years of hard work I can run a 4.7 40. These kids were born 6'4" 250 pounds, and after whatever work they put in can run a 4.5 or 4.4. If I didn't go to school and worked out 7 days a week just for football, I would never be able to reach these kids in terms of athleticism and talent. They are clearly genetically superior to most people, got lucky because they were born that way, probably didn't need to work that hard in high school, and now are clearly not working at all in college. You're just wrong to suggest that they definitely worked hard to get to this point, the simple, and sad, truth is that a lot of people don't have to work very hard to be as good as they are at sports.
