Toxic Data Spill  - Read the whole story on his Tumblr

LA TimesA Silver Lake man’s attempt to install solar panels at his home were interrupted when he found $175,000 worth of marijuana — bottled, bundled and vacuumed-sealed — stowed in a vault under a backyard hot tub.  When Mack Reed opened up the underground access vault for a technician to inspect, he spotted an army-green bag that turned out to be stuffed with weed and hash. Inside the bag, he found about 60 jars, bags and vacuum-sealed packages labeled with names like White Russian, Super Lemon Haze and Bubble Mix.  For a second, Reed fantasized about the money that could be had, and how it might make up for what he invested in his mobile photo game start-up. But his thoughts quickly turned to fear: “Oh. My. God. Someone’s coming back for this.”

Haha is this guy the biggest overreacter in the world?  I love what he thinks pot dealers look like.   Like muscle head tatted up Latino skull bashers with tear drops on their face looking to hunt you down and rape and murder your family.  Hey man that bag probably belonged to some stoner college kid trying to sling enough around campus to pay for books.   Bro thinks a duffel bag full of warrants the same kind of response Tony Montana had or something.   Roided out freaks with glock 45s?  Dude it’s some weed in Cali, not a bag of blow in Colombia.  You can legally smoke it right there if you want.   And calm down about watching what you post on Facebook.  I’m positive the drug lords of LA are not monitoring a former LA Times’ reporter’s Facebook posts to find out when he’s out of town so they can hide a few pot plants on his property.   Maybe grab a handful out of one of the bags and use it to chillax a little.
