BSO - It seems like Kentucky has been searching for a coach who can run the pick n’ roll on the football field since Bear Bryant left Lexington in the 50′s. Sure, there were a few highlights under Hal Mumme, Rich Brooks and Joker Phillips, but for the most part football season at Kentucky has been a mere appetizer for the school’s main course at Rupp Arena in the winter. Mark Stoops is trying to change that. After a hauling in a solid 2013 recruiting class, Stoops is already working on an encore for 2014. Per CoachingSearch.com, Stoops and his staff recently sent 115 handwritten letters to in-state class of 2014 quarterback prospect Drew Barker (Conner HS, Hebron, KY.).
Best way to change the culture of Kentucky Football. Creep the fuck out of your top recruits by sending them 115 handwritten letters in one day like some sort of ex-boyfriend psychopath. I mean I said before if a school sent me 40 or 50 handwritten letters I’d dump them straight in the trash and immediately sign somewhere else just for inconveniencing me so badly. Probably missed some bills and magazines because you assholes stuffed my mailbox. But 115? That’s like call the police type numbers. Dude send me a duffel bag full of cash and a stripper. Wake up. Are these envelopes going to buy me a car or suck my dick?
