MORGAN HILL (CBS 5) — Two people who live in a large Morgan Hill home have been arrested on suspicion of holding a handyman hostage and forcing him to do home repairs.  “He was assaulted, he was threatened with his life, and he was forced to do some work at the house,” Sgt. Jose Cardoza of the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office told CBS 5.  Detectives said 36-year-old Jason DeJesus and 33-year-old Chanelle Troedson beat the handyman, threatened to kill him and forced him to fix several items in the house over a six-hour span. The repairs included a dishwasher and a broken door.  Investigators said the handyman performed work for De Jesus’ mother two months ago.  “The work wasn’t performed to the likes of the suspect’s relative at the time, and on top of that there was dispute over services rendered, the victim wasn’t paid entirely. That kind of boiled over into what occurred last night,” Cardoza said.

 

We’re just gonna pretend like Jason DeJesus was responsible for this huh?  That it wasn’t 100% Chanelle’s idea and master plan?   Because as a man there is nothing worse than having a blue collar worker come into your home and fix shit.   Yeah I say I don’t care if I know how to do handy work because I can just pay someone to do it.  Pretend I don’t care that I can’t fix a broken down car or change a flat tire or fix the running toilet or use a hammer without breaking my thumbs.   But at the end of the day when some rugged guy comes into your house and fixes your fridge and back door while you mix him up some lemonade in the kitchen it’s emasculating as all hell.  Doesn’t matter that he’s fat and ugly while you look hot as fuck in your J Crew fall outfit.  Doesn’t matter if you make 4 times more money than him.  Instinct will tell you he’s more of a man and you should be embarrassed.  Only way to counter that is simple kidnapping and forcing him to do all the work that your bitch girlfriend has been nagging you about with a loaded gun pointed at the back of his head.   No brainer.   Who’s the man now bro?
