So last year after we wrapped up the Blackout Tour I had tour veteran Feitelberg come up with the official power rankings. He went to every show, saw how it all went down up close, and put out the top 10 spots. These were the rankings then…
1. Myrtle Beach – Undisputed champion of the world. The girls at CCU know the meaning of “dump em out” and they take it literally. We’re making the video now and it looks like something out of intheVIP.com. Tits, lights, and chicks making out all over the place. The energy that night was palpable and the dancefloor fucking was visible.
7. Stroudsburg – Best show by a school that may or may not actually exist. The Strousburg kids just live to party, which is easy considering I imagine their core classes resemble something out of Accepted. Hey, more time to booze and rage, right?
But now it seems like there has been a shift in the winds. A changing of the guard. Yup by all accounts ESU has taken over #1 spot on the Blackout Tour power rankings. Selling out shows in 2 minutes flat. Making us add second and third shows then selling those out in 2 minutes flat. Blowing up Facebook and Twitter. Even making championship belts from themselves and rocking them right in Coastal’s fucking face.
Real curious to see how Coastal reacts when we roll in to Myrtle Beach next Thursday night at House of Blues. Go quietly into the Blackout night or some back with authority? Kind of nervous for it actually, shit gets realll intense when pride is on the line….
